The Fencepost, known pre-September 2022 as simply the Arena, is a PvP Arena located in Downtown Department, Oak Hills.

History

Early History

The Arena was built some time in March 2022 by AlphaPlayer5345 and Revert. However, the arena was built on reserved land, so 44cckw moved the Arena to its current location at the Spider Cave.

Revert at some point claimed full ownership of the Arena, though this claim was declared illegitimate by 44cckw.

Revival and Fencepost

44cckw and raddicted fought eachother in multiple PvP duels in the arena on 17 September 2022.

EvilPoopMan challenged raddicted to a dueled on 23 September 2022. They subsequently fought each other in the arena. With raddicted being victorious, EvilPoopMan self-exiled. The event was recorded by 44cckw and can be watched on YouTube.

Late History

During EvilPoopMan's Reign over the server in early-December 2022, CalmCreeper360 and EvilPoopMan agreed to duel to settle their disputes. During the fight, Norbert011 would detonate a block of TNT, damaging the arena. EvilPoopMan would follow, and almost completely demolish the Fencepost with tons of TNT. This lead 44cckw to temporarily ban EvilPoopMan and Norbert from the server, and a backup was loaded.

Revert's claim to the Arena was still doubted by the playerbase of Betaonline. After Revert's second pardon and return to the server in December 2022, he still persisted that he had built the Arena. AlphaPlayer5345 confirmed this on 16 December 2022, and said that he had built the Arena together with someone.
