The Fencepost, known pre-September 2022 as simply the Arena, is a PvP Arena located in Downtown Department, Oak Hills.

History

Construction

The Arena was built some time in March 2022 by AlphaPlayer5345. However, the arena was built on reserved land, so 44cckw moved the Arena to its current location at the Spider Cave.

Revival

44cckw and raddicted fought eachother in multiple PvP duels in the arena on 17 September 2022, turning it into the Fencepost by adding various obstacles to the arena made with fences. The EvilPoopMan, under the secret control of Norbert011, challenged rad to a duel on 23 September 2022. They subsequently fought each other in the arena. With rad being victorious, EvilPoopMan self-exiled for the time being. The event was recorded and uploaded to YouTube by 44cckw.

Grief

During EvilPoopMan's Reign over the server in December 2022, CalmCreeper360 and Norbert, secretly using the EvilPoopMan account, agreed to duel to settle their disputes. During the fight, Norbert011 would detonate several blocks of TNT at the Fencepost, which completely destroyed it. This led 44cckw to temporarily ban the EvilPoopMan account and Norbert from the server. A backup was loaded, which restored the Fencepost.

Construction controversy

Revert claimed to have built the Fencepost in March 2022 together with another player, likely AlphaPlayer5345. Throughout his time on the server, he tried several times to lay claim over the ownership of the arena, but this was always declared illegitimate by 44cckw, due to lacking evidence of Revert's supposed involvement in the construction. AlphaPlayer, the player who built the arena, had no recollection of building it together with Revert when asked about it in late 2022.
