Mope222's House, nicknamed the Mudhole by players, is the first ever base made on the server. Due to its simplistic and primitive design, as well as being the first base on the server, it has gained a legendary reputation among the Betaonline community. It is often cited as one of the server's most famed and recognizable builds. Access to the mudhole is severely limited, as Mope rarely allows anyone to visit it.

Origins
The mudhole began construction on 7 March 2022, the same date Mope222 joined the server for the first time.
Mope was the second player to join the server. He joined on 7 March 2022 and would begin construction of the mudhole the very same day. He settled to build it around the Paris hole, as that's where the majority of activity occurred at the time. Construction began with him digging underground, and he later added the entrance of wood on the surface.StickyEXP would begin, for reasons unknown, to harass and grief Mope's hut on 8 March 2022. After several warnings from 44cckw, he would be banned.
Wemboz_1 would build a very similar structure to that of Mope, and is often referred to as Wemboz_1's Mudhole in retrospect. This build was destroyed on 12-13 March 2022 to make space for Paris Mansion. With Norbert011 beginning to build his house, the mudhole was in danger of being cut into Norbert's house. Mope agreed to move the top of his house a few blocks to the east in mid-late March 2022, where it still stands to this day. The hut was upgraded at some point to include an underground mushroom farm, a keyboard made out of noteblocks and even a lavapit.
The Pranks
FinsCon decided to prank Mope. He decided on 11 April 2022 to move the entrance of Mope's mudhole into Norbert's House while Mope was offline. Mope would move the entrance back to its original spot after he joined the server again.
On 30 August 2022, Mope would fall victim to yet another one of Fin's pranks. The entrance was once again moved from its original location into the Oil Rig. The hut was again moved back to its original location after Mope discovered this.

Hutapocalypse
Beginning in mid-September 2022, raddicted would start to build replicas of Mope's house all over betaonline. Mope's original house was not moved or damaged in any way.
Mr. Tree and Big D Gary
Mr. Tree and Big D Gary are two structures that are sometimes considered to be part of the mudhole. Mr. Tree was first constructed by Mope222 on 8 March 2022, though it has been destroyed and rebuilt many times throughout history. The current incarnation of Mr. Tree is the longest surviving one.
The origins of Big D Gary is a bit more vague, and it is unknown who constructed him. The earliest known mention of him dates back to 18 March 2022.
