Mayan Sea
The Mayan Sea is a large expanse of water north of Spawn. The sea borders Dankstadt to the west, as well as Paris and Spawn to the north. Wither Town also lies in close proximity.
Etymology
The name was coined by Norbert011 on 23 December 2022, after mapping up the Paris departments. The sea is named after Wheat Island, due to the structure being inspired by the stereotypical Mayan temples.
History
Early History
The Mayan Sea, as well as the northern landscapes of Betaonline sat largely unexplored and desolate in the first half-year of the server's existence, with a few exceptions such as Wither Town. The first mayor structure in the area was Wheat Temple, built by 44cckw in September 2022.
