The Finternet (portmanteau for FinC121 and network) was a supposed network in of underground tunnels connecting Finer Bakery, CalmCreeper360's House and a branching tunnel to a noise machine room. The existence of these tunnels are debated heavily on the server. Some players believe it to be a hoax, including FinsCon himself. However, CalmCreeper360 has been a staunch believer of the Finternet and has been the main leader of the Finternet believers, who believe that FinC121, Norbert011 and 44cckw is secretly covering up the existence of these tunnels.
Beginning some time in November-December 2022, mentions of a similar Trikinet began popping up on signs throughout the server, notably in Oak Hills and Dankstadt. This Trikinet is even more cryptic than the Finternet and virtually no information about it exists. It is believed to be related to TriKhazan, though if it has any relations to the Finternet remains to be seen.
The Finternet might be related to Schizoposting in some capacity.

First Mention[edit]
The first appearance of the effect occurred on 3 October 2022 at 18:18. CalmCreeper360 opens the conversation by asking about the Finternet, the other players do not know what he is referring and are confused.

CalmCreeper360 then describes the Finternet as a tunnel system, and that it was connected to his house.
After this conversation, CalmCreeper360 gives a more descriptions of the Finternet;
- It was located on the BetaOnline server, and supposedly constructed and then closed by FinsCon;
- It was built at the time when CalmCreeper360's house was built;
- The Finternet connected from the Finer Bakery into his fireplace.
At this point, CalmCreeper360 proceeds to lead Fin and Norbert011 into the Finer Bakery backrooms and starts to dig at the back wall of the backroom.

Collected Description[edit]
Due to it's uncertain nature, the true extent of the tunnels is unclear. Experiences and descriptions provided by the affected players from these chat logs let us have some clue of what it could have once been.

CalmCreeper360's House was the first reported instance of an entrance, within the wall next to the fireplace, and has reported to have formerly been located directly inside the fireplace.

Evidence for Existence[edit]
On multiple occasions there have been strong pieces of evidence of the Finternet possibly existing at some point on the server.
This video, uploaded by the Youtube user 'Zion Garner' on 18 September 2022 predates the first mention of the Finternet. This is one of the main pieces of evidence used by the Finternet believers, while Finternet deniers say that the video is staged with actors and a world download. Zion Garner is also not a known player on Betaonline.
Starting on 30 October 2022, a series of Finternet-related videos has been uploaded by the user 'FINTERNET' on the video-sharing platform 'vidlii'. The user's name, age and country of origin do not fit the profile of any known BetaOnline player. These videos show possible evidence of the existence of the Finternet, with abandoned tunnels underneath Oak Hills and even Fin himself destroying evidence. Wherever or not this is a paid actor or legitimate footage, is debated. The second video, uploaded 1 November 2022, suggests that the construction of the shitting rooms underneath FinC121's Mansion was a coverup to destroy more Finternet evidence.
Evidence against Existence[edit]
Finternet deniers, such as Fin, Norbert and 44cckw, all deny the existence of the tunnels. Their main arguments include that there is no hidden tunnels underneath Oak Hills, and that the idea itself is ridiculous and has no basis in reality. Finternet deniers believe all footage and screenshots of the Finternet to be faked using world downloads and actors. Deniers has concluded that the Finternet is simply a Mandela effect; a false memory.

- On the afternoon of October 3, 2022, five people on a beta Minecraft server entered a building in South Oak Hills. Four of them were never seen again. The next morning the one player, CalmCreeper360 , was picked up on a roadside; dust-coated and screaming conspiracy. Creeper said he had broken out of a tunnel in hell. The player babbled a mad tale: a network of tunnels underneath Oak Hills... the Oak Hills noise... an entrance behind his fireplace... video proof... Then he sank into catatonia. Oak Hills lawmen mounted a day-long hunt, but could not locate the strange tunnels. They could find no traces and no entrances. No facts; no crime. Officially, on the records, the Finternet never existed. But during the last months, over and over again reports of bizarre tunnels and stories have persisted all across the server of Betaonline. The Finternet has not stopped. It haunts Betaonline. It seems to have no end.
