Mope222's House, nicknamed the Mudhole by players, is the first ever base made on the server.

History

Early History

Mope was the second player to join the server. He joined on 7 March 2022 and would begin construction of the mudhole the very same day. He settled to build it around the Paris hole, as that's where the majority of activity occurred at the time. Construction began with him digging underground, and he later added the entrance of wood on the surface.

StickyEXP would begin, for reasons unknown, to harass and grief Mope's hut on 8 March 2022. After several warnings from 44cckw, he would be banned.

Moving the Hut

Due to Norbert's House growing bigger and expanding, it was in danger of cutting into Mope's house. Due to this, Mope agreed to move the house a few blocks back in mid-late March 2022. The Hut was upgraded at some point to include a mushroom farm, a keyboard out of noteblocks and even a lavapit.

The Pranks

On 11 April, the entrance of Mope's house was moved from its original location into Norbert's house. Mope later moved the house back after he joined the server again.

On 30 August, the entrance of Mope's house was once again moved from its original location into 44cckw's oil rig. Mope once again moved the house back a few days later.

Hutapocalypse

Beginning in mid-September 2022, raddicted would start to build replicas of Mope's house all over betaonline. Mope's original house was not moved or damaged in any way.

Trivia

Due to the Mudhole being the server's first build, as well as being very primitive and simple, it has gained a legendary reputation on the server.
The term 'Mudhole' was first coined by 44cckw on 11 March 2022.
Mr. Tree and Big D Garry has been defaced, destroyed, and modified many times throughout history. The original Mr. Tree was first chopped down by StickyEXP on 8 March 2022.
FinsCon would construct a giant version of Mope's Hut in October 2022.
