Farlands, officially the Closest-Farlands Kingdom is a country at the world border created by Tsar_Boris. Its capital and largest city is known as Lockedchestiagrad, with other major cities and suburbs being Moryegrad and Sublockedchestiagrad.

The Farlands has had an unfortunate history of being targeted with griefs, with swastikas of various sizes and numbers being built across the town.

History

Early History

Tsar_Boris, the founder of Farlands joined the server for the first time on 23 March 2022. He would begin to walk westward on 30 March 2022, thousands of blocks into the wilderness. Norbert011 warned 44cckw and told him that he would walk thousands of blocks, increasing the world size drastically. This event would lead the server to implement the world border at 20k blocks. Boris reached the world border the same day, and the journey took him approximately two hours. He would begin to build the settlement Lockedchestiagrad the following days. Lockedchestiagrad is the name used by Boris for his previous base on the server MCPlayground, which he used to play on. However, the unofficial name Farlands became more widespread, due to it being easier to write. Boris would eventually adapt this name for the entire country, but kept Lockedchestiagrad as the name of the city.

April Expansion

Lockedchestiagrad would expand rapidly the following weeks. Boris would begin to create maps of his settlement using dynmap, being one of the first players to do so. The first house in the Farlands was Tsar_Boris' own personal house, with a massive sugarcane farm being erected on a nearby island. This sugarcane farm is the server's biggest known sugarcane farm. A warp was added on 31 March 2022 by 44cckw, making travel to the settlement easier.

Wodanaz333 would at an unknown point in time create an obsidian swastika outside of the Farlands. This was first discovered by Boris on 9 April 2022. Boris first assumed the swastika to be made by Norbert, but this accusation was later denied by 44cckw after checking logs. The swastika would remain in place for some time, but was at some point destroyed.

Longswordmen Incident

Beginning in April 2022, an unknown group of players known as the Longswordsmen would create a massive swastika out of sandstone in the waters outside of Lockedchestia. While Boris was unhappy with the swastika, he would state that he could re utilize the swastika for something else. This swastika would later be made into the Lockedchestia Arena. Boris would discover a crater near the Farlands on 20 May 2022, which later turned out to be where the Longswordmen got the resources for the swastika. It is still a mystery to this day who the perpetrators where, and the reasoning behind the swastika.

Residents

Farlands is a small town. According to their own tally, 2 players live in the town. However, who the second player are is currently unknown.
