Wither Town, often spelled Withertown, is almost a perfect replica of villages found in Minecraft versions beta 1.8-release 1.14. The village is populated by Wither's signature Pumpkinmen, due to the absence of villagers.
History[edit]
Construction[edit]
Withermann started construction of Wither Town in early March 2022. The exact date of founding is unknown. The earliest screenshot of the town was taken on 12 March 2022, so it can be concluded that it was founded some time near that date. The town finished construction some time in mid-late March, and has stayed the same ever since, with no buildings being added.
Dankstadt expansion[edit]
Dankstadt, a new town that was rapidly expanding in October 2022, was beginning to cut into the territory of Wither Town. While Withermann had always forbidden people to build near the town or expand it, this request was ignored by many players, due to Wither's inability to maintain his presence on the server at the time. This dispute/tension was later resolved between the two towns.
Pumpkin Bandit Well[edit]
On 30 October 2022, TriKhazan would discover a lever at the Wither Town well. Switching it on revealed a secret base underneath the well, left by the Pumpkin Bandit at an unknown date. The town was not damaged in any other way.
