===Origins===
[[Tsar_Boris]] was seeking to create a new town somewhere on the server in December 2022, after the [[EvilPoopMan's Reign]] had concluded. Boris begun colonizing [[L'île du Roi]] in late 2022 and early 2023 and established '''Campo del Rey''' on the western shores of the island. This got him into trouble with [[Norbert011]] who had claimed the island as part of [[Paris]]. Boris was eventually forced off the island and had to establish his town somewhere else.
Villa del Rey's first mention on the server can be traced back to 12 December 2022, and construction of the town at it's current location soon followed. Due to the town's close proximity to [[Slimeball]], [[aella22]] claimed the builds to be apart of Slimeball. This dispute was eventually settled between the two parties. Similarly, [[Mope222]] would claim the builds for himself in September 2023 due to Tsar_Boris' absence from the server. This was settled after an agreement between Mope and [[44cckw]] on 4 September, and the town was returned to the hands of Boris that same day.
