The Oil Rig was used as a base of operations by [[raddicted]]'s Army during the [[Parisian Civil War]] due to its valuable geographical location and close proximity to the [[Paris|Parisian]] mainland. The goal of rad's Army was to end the duumvirate of Paris, depose and exile Norbert from the nation and install raddicted as Paris' single ruler. This came to be due to several disagreements and hostilities between Norbert and rad that had been brewing for days prior.
