Oil Rig: Difference between revisions

The idea of making an oil rig first struck 44cckw in the middle of March 2022. Construction began on 24 March 2022, and the basic structure was finished a few days later on 26 March 2022. Obtaining the items required for the build took much longer than this, however. It required large amounts of snow, colored wool and stone, which was gathered prior to the construction. A [[CH-54 helicopter]] was built by [[Norbert011]] to accompany the Oil Rig and its helipad.

 

The Oil Rig and other builds on the server was hit by a big [[Grief|TNT attack]] and was completely destroyed. The perpetrator was [[46mm]], the player behind the Dupe War, who had been pardoned following the official end of the conflict. The Oil Rig was potentially attacked in such a way due to 46mm having a personal vendetta against 44cckw. The damages was reverted a few days later.

 

Beginning in September 2022, the Oil Rig received several upgrades. The buildings on top of the rig was given proper interior and stairs, and a large mid-section was dug out leading down to the water. Adding a drill to the Oil Rig was planned, but never came into frution.
