The '''Oil Rig''' is a massive oil rig, located in the waters outside of [[Oak Hills]] and [[Paris]]. It is widely regarded as being one of the server's most iconic and recognizable builds. It was inhabited by [[44cckw]] from 26 March 2022 to late November 2022, after which he left for the [[White House]] located in rural Lake department.

The idea of making aan oil rig first struck 44cckw in mid-the middle of March 2022. Construction began on 24 March 2022, and itthe basic structure was finished a few days later on 26 March 2022. Obtaining the items required for the build took much longer than this however, ashowever. itIt required large amounts of snow, colored wool and stone, which was gathered prior to the construction. A [[CH-54 helicopter]] was built by [[Norbert011]] to accompany the Oil Rig and its helipad.

[[46mm]], who was previously banned after the [[Dupe Wars]], was pardoned by 44cckw in April on the condition that he would play normally. The peace did not last long however, as most of the server was completely destroyed by TNT on 14 April 2022. 46mm was once again banned, and has not returned to the server since. The server restored from backup one week later, due to 44cckw being away on vacation at the time. The oil rig had been completely gone, and was blown up by TNT, possibly due to 46mm having a personal vendetta against 44cckw.

The Oil Rig and other builds on the server was hit by a big [[Grief|TNT attack]] and was completely destroyed. The perpetrator was [[46mm]], the player behind the Dupe War, who had been pardoned following the official end of the conflict. The Oil Rig was potentially attacked in such a way due to 46mm having a personal vendetta against 44cckw. The damages was reverted a few days later.
The oil rig received some minor upgrades on 16-17 September 2022. The buildings on top of the rig was given interior and proper stairs, and a large mid-section was dug out leading down to the water. According to 44cckw, a massive drill is being planned to be built, but nothing has currently materialized. ▼

The oil rig was used as a base of operations by [[raddicted]]'s army during the [[Parisian Civil War]] due to its geographical location and close proximity to Paris. The goal of raddicted's Army was to depose and exile Norbert from Paris, and throne raddicted as Paris' single ruler. The army was made up of Oak Hills volunteers, 44cckw and [[CalmCreeper360]]. 44cckw allowed troops and munitions to be stationed on the oil rig, and it acted as an (at the time) impenetrable fort. In the early stages of the conflict, the army would launch incursions from the oil rig into Paris and Downtown Oak Hills. These attacks were mildly successful, due to Norbert being able to possess the powers of [[EvilPoopMan]]. In the later stages of the war, the oil rig would be under siege by Norbert. After an unsuccessful attempt at entering the oil rig from underground, Norbert resorted to using his EvilPoopMan magic and fly across the water straight to the oil rig. The army quickly fell into disarray and collapsed after this. The oil rig took some damage during this war, as CalmCreeper and raddicted poured lava down onto Norbert when he attempted to reach the oil rig from underneath.

This came to be due to several disagreements and hostilities between Norbert and rad that had been brewing for days prior.

After rad's Army lost their foothold on mainland [[Oak Hills]] and Paris after Norbert's counter-attacks, the army bunkered down their forces on the rig. They successfully halted Norbert's first advance by using lava, but the rig was inevitably seized by Norbert after using his cheats to fly across the water and using killaura. rad's Army quickly fell into disarray and mostly collapsed, though favorable peace terms was agreed upon by both parties shortly afterwards, ending the civil war. The damages made to the Oil Rig was reverted.
