The mudhole first began construction on 7 March 2022, the same date [[Mope222]] joined the server for the first time. The area the mudhole is built on was chosen due to its proximity to a large [[Paris Hole|mineshaft]] that [[44cckw]] had set up camp around, which was were the majority of player-activity occured at the time. He first begun digging into the ground, and the hut/entrance was added shortly afterwards. Although the mudhole was lightly [[Grief|griefed]] by [[StickyEXP]], everything went smoothly.
The area around the mudhole and the aforementioned mineshaft, was originally the planned space in which [[44cckw's first house|44cckw's house]] was to be built. This plan had to be scrapped due to Mope beating him to it, eventually leading to the founding of [[Oak Hills]] after 44cckw moved his base of operations.
