Lockedchestia has a long and intricate history on both Betaonline and [[MCPlayground Players|other servers]]. The city was first established on Betaonline in March 2022 at the world border, being the town furthest away from [[Spawn]]. Although being griefed on some occasions by the [[Longswordsmen]], the town would sit quietly for itself for most of its early history. The town was entirely built by Tsar_Boris, and the settlement had no permanent population other than him.

The city was griefed and pillaged of resources, with [[Pooplandia]] being built in its ruins. After the EvilPoopMan fled the server and order was re-established, Pooplandia was demolished and large parts of the griefs committed were repaired by [[44cckw]]. Tsar_Boris, the founder of Farlands joined the server for the first time on 23 March 2022. He would begin to walk westward on 30 March 2022, thousands of blocks into the wilderness. [[Norbert011]] warned [[44cckw]] and told him that he would walk thousands of blocks, increasing the world's size drastically. This event would lead the server to implement the world border at 20k blocks. Boris reached the world border the same day, and the journey took him approximately two hours. He would begin to build the settlement Lockedchestiagrad in the following days. Lockedchestiagrad is the name used by Boris for his previous base on the server [[MCPlayground Players|MCPlayground]], which he used to play on. However, the unofficial name Farlands became more widespread, due to it being easier to write. Boris would eventually adopt this name for the entire country but kept Lockedchestiagrad as the name of the city.
