The '''June of Chaos''' is the name given to a conflict that spanned most of June 2023 on Betaonline. The event was mainly fought between the "loyalists"; [[Lake City]] headed by [[CalmCreeper360]], [[Withermann]], [[44cckw]]; and the "dissidents" which were made up of players opposed to the status-quo of the server, such as [[Norbert011]], [[Revert]] and [[TriKhazan]]. Although the Chaos primarily took place in the areas surrounding [[Oak Hills]] and [[Lake City]], at times the conflict spilled over into [[Mościce]].
What originally started as arguments between CalmCreeper and Norbert, which had been brewing for months since the end of the [[EvilPoopMan's Reign]], quickly spiraled out of control and turned into a conflict between players who were opposed to the governance of the server, and those who supported it.
The Chaos is still an incredibly controversial topic in the community, due to the nature of the conflict and crimes perpetrated during this time frame. Although it was a massive schism that nearly tore the server apart, much information surrounding this remains undocumented.

With CalmCreeper being the only active defender of Lake City, he was quickly overwhelmed by the large and well equipped enemy. Facing no other option, Calm opted to go into exile at [[Mościce]], temporarily abandoning Lake City.

==Legacy==
[[Norbert011]], [[Kilgore]] and the account [[EvilPoopMan]], being controlled by [[Revert]], was permanently banned from the server. [[TriKhazan]] was banned for a few weeks and was quickly pardoned by [[44cckw]] on 31 July 2023. Tri has come to good terms with the server and [[CalmCreeper360]] following the war.
[[CalmCreeper360's House]] was badly griefed during the war, but this was rolled back and all damages was reverted. [[Lake City]] itself was not badly damaged during the war, with only dirt crosses and flag poles being built by the invading army. The flag poles has remained in Lake City, and the jolly roger flag is going to be replaced in the near future, according to Lake City officials.
